The Problem


oday from work, to everyday life people feel stressed out, unfocused, and overwhelmed. The constant feeling of being unfulfilled, disoriented, and unsettled has become the norm for many.

The solution we are told is simply to change how we think. But how many times have you told yourself not to think a certain way, only to then find yourself doing the opposite anyway?

This top-down classical approach to behavior change is largely ineffective, especially long term. But, there is a better way, and one that is grounded in the latest findings from the science of human flourishing: the Mindfulness-in-Action approach.

The Solution


t Embodied Performance Coaching we take a radical counter mainstream approach to achieving less stress, more focus, and showing up with a calm presence in life and career.

In order to behave and feel the way you most want to, we argue that you need to run behavior change backwards. Rather than starting from changing how you think to achieve success in your life, you first need to learn how to change your inner state. In other words, we advocate a bottom-up approach.

Our research has shown than in doing so, by learning to both be mindful and manage your inner state first (i.e. sensations, feelings and emotions as experienced in the body) when dealing with uncomfortable, sticky experiences – your thoughts will naturally fall in line, and in turn so will your behavior.

Our Approach


hrough a series of practical and experiential embodied exercises, either taught in person or virtually, we show participants how to experience mindfulness-in-action. The outcome is being able to show up in the most difficult of situations, calm, focused and composed.

Our program, Mindfulness-In-Action is built upon a deep theoretical and applied methodology grounded in research. We draw from several key fields of human flourishing, most notably neuroscience, embodied-cognition, somatics, and performance psychology. Together this knowledge will aid you in developing mindfulness-in-action in your life, and your career.
